the Tech Center
Program, the PSP program helps
accelerate the transition from incubator company
to vibrant and successful business. Through
this program, a client company will be introduced
to business experts from the private sector
who provide assistance at reduced rates in
areas such as intellectual property, accounting,
marketing, public relations, and taxation.
The PSP program is based
on public-private sector partnerships between
HTDC and experienced business professionals
in a “win-win” arrangement:
- Client companies are able to obtain professional
services that may otherwise be difficult
to access or beyond their budget
- Service providers have the opportunity
to assist start-up clients in the critical
growth stage.
The
service providers in the PSP program have prior
experience with start-up companies in technology
and related industries. They are well aware
of the challenges faced by fledgling businesses
in the first few years of business and are
willing to tailor their services to the particular
needs of HTDC’s clients. HTDC’s PSP program
staff is the liaison between the client and
service provider. The staff will make every
effort to match clients and service providers
based on both clients’ and service providers’ requirements
and preferences. HTDC will monitor the progress
of any referrals to ensure satisfactory service
for both parties.
