RYAN OZAWA Founder, Hawaii Hui LLC Ryan serves as the Community Engagement Consultant for the Digital Currency Innovation Lab. Ryan is an independent journalist who covers Hawaii science, technology, startups, entrepreneurship and the arts. He publishes Hawaii Bulletin for Meta (formerly Facebook), as well as serves as a contributor to a variety of media outlets, including Hawaii News Now, KITV, KHON, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Hawaii Public Radio, and Civil Beat. He is also the organizer of the annual Hawaii Geek Meet. |

JON LEWIS Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer, Emerging Impact Jon Lewis a Honolulu-based tech entrepreneur and Chief Product Officer at Emerging Impact, a company that builds modern financial infrastructure for those that are underserved by traditional financial systems. Jon and his team design products that leverage blockchain technology to empower people in developing countries and island nations all over the world. Jon previously led global product design at ConsenSys (Ethereum-forward Blockchain Firm), he’s passionate about deploying Human Centered Design methods at scale and has been actively working in the blockchain space since 2013. |

NATHANIEL HARMON Founder, Blockchain Solutions Hawaii Nathaniel Harmon has been involved with bitcoin since 2013, and founded Blockchain Solutions Hawaii (BSH) in 2018, with the goal of creating "Hawaii's Blockchain Helpdesk." combining his passion for cryptocurrency with his newly-acquired degree, an M.S. in Marine Geology and Geochemistry from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Through BSH, Nathaniel provides consulting and educational services to businesses, individuals, and legislators alike. He meanwhile pioneered a Zero-Knowledge on-boarding security service and developed commercial grade software ecosystems for second-layer Bitcoin solutions using Sidechains and the Lighting Network. DR. REZA GHORBANI Associate Professor, University of Hawaii at Manoa In addition to teaching at the university, Dr. Ghorbani also serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Nikola Power. He is the Co-Founder and Application Advisor at MLhere and a Strategic advisor at OPTT. |

Ryan has been leveraging web technologies and building communities that bridge Hawaiʻi with the rest of the world since the advent of web 2.0 and has since found success working with NFT trading and decentralized finance. TRUNG LAM Commercialization Consultant, Moosebear Innovations Trung Lam is a Hawaii based entrepreneur and advocate for community good, launching La Tour Cafe and most recently Keiki Desk. As an entrepreneur Trung is an expert in compliance and regulations for Hawaii small businesses and will act as a community advocate and liaison for small businesses and young people.
