This month's WetWare Wednesday is brought to you by ISC2, AFCEA Hawaii, and the Honolulu Navy League!
ISC2 promotes cyber security here in the islands and have several opportunities for those interested in building up the chapter or promoting computer security in our local community. They currently have a special discount on membership, 50% off if you join by July 18th!
We met the Young AFCEANs (YACs) in January, meet their parent organization AFCEA Hawaii!! AFCEA Hawaii is made up of over 600+ members that connects people, ideas, and solutions to align technology and strategy to meet the needs of those who serve. They focus on cyber, command, control, communications, computers and intelligence to address national and international security challenges.
The Navy League is a nonprofit civilian, educational and advocacy organization that supports the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine. Their mission is to educate the community, advocate the value of maintaining a strong Sea Service; serve those who serve, and their families, and develop tomorrow's leaders through youth leadership programs.
