Applicants Progressing to Presentations RFP-26-002-HTDC
This timeline is HTDC’s best estimate as to the process moving forward.
January 15, 2026 – Email invitations issued to Applicants moving on to the presentation round. Your time slots have been assigned in invitations for either February 4th or February 6th, morning. A meeting invite with Zoom link to be issued once Applicant has confirmed acceptance. Unfortunately, options for change considerations will not be allowed.
January 20, 2026 – Any additional specific questions to include in the presentation was sent via email to Applicants invited to present.

As presentations can be back-to-back, we will do our best to stay on schedule. Please help us by managing your presentation wisely.
Disclaimer: The current funding opportunity in whole for this FY26 is $1M. A Governor holdback clause of 13.4% will be designed into each award. Should Applicant be offered an award, the amount *may* be a modified amount from the Applicant’s request. If Applicant is not able to satisfy the proposed program due to the modified award offering, Applicant may either:
1) Offer a modified proposal as an addendum, and subject to HTDC agreement and final approval or, 2) Decline the award
Please adhere to the presentation time limit, to allow for Q&A. Time will be moderated and Applicants will be stopped if they exceed their presentation time. Total presentation time will be 25 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS & WHAT TO PRESENT
- Presentation Deck: Prepare a short deck to share during your presentation.
- Presentation should be a high level summary of your proposal, to include overview of organization and credibility. Opportunity to highlight areas of importance.
- Address any additional questions you may have been asked to clarify or expand on (should there be any) in email on Jan 20, 2026 to each Applicant.
- Express alignment to HTDC Priority Areas as cited in RFP, Section 2.2
- Be clear on plans for use of funds requested
- Overview on your match requirement. Include how much is cash vs. in kind?
- Address pathway to sustainability, if any (as this funding opportunity is not guaranteed year-to-year)
- Repeat Applicants from previous award funding rounds should include 1) recap of previous program results and economic impact 2) new growth, expansion and/or changes to proposed program (if any) to help justify continued funding support.
- PDF of presentation: Email your presentation as a pdf (or link to presentation for download) to sandi@htdc.org when your Zoom presentation is completed. It is not required to (although you may) send this prior to your presentation as you will have control to present a visual. We are looking for your final presentation deck.
- BAFO: All Applicants presenting will be offered a BAFO opportunity (Best and Final Offer) upon completion of your presentation. This is an opportunity to adjust your proposal based on any add’l information and interaction gained with the committee. The BAFO is an option and not a requirement. The BAFO should be submitted as an addendum to your proposal for the additional information or changes made, and NOT as a re-edit of the entire proposal.
By the deadlines below, ALL Applicants who presented must use our online submission site to 1) submit a BAFO, OR 2) to notify us that you will NOT be submitting a BAFO and will stand on your original proposal without edits or additions. - Presentations on Mon, Feb 9, 2026 – BAFO response due by Wed, Feb 12, 2026 – 1:00pm
- Award Notification: Applicants will be notified via email by end of March 2026 (or sooner), on status of the award process.
