Business Law Corps Free Legal Counseling

Appointments with the Business Law Corps clinic are offered every other Wednesday to Hawai’i businesses for 30 minutes and are meant to answer specific questions and provide general guidance, not to provide a document review or long term legal help.

This service is for HAWAI’I BASED COMPANIES ONLY as legal advice is only for Hawai’i based companies.

The attorneys are experienced corporate lawyers, and can help you with questions related to: choice of entity, governance, for-profit corporations, LLCs and partnerships. If topics are outside of these disciplines, the BLC may not be able to fully assist, but will provide you with the best guidance (to their knowledge) and/or refer you to other resources.

Schedule an Appointment

30-minute private phone sessions are offered on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 11:00 am, 11:30 am, 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm.
NOTE: Clinic appointments can run overtime if the schedule is full. Please be patient if the attorney does not call you right at your appointment time.
REQUIRED: When booking, include in the notes field the following information: 1) Company Name, 2) Topic of Discussion and 3) Hawai’i Island your business is located. If any of this information is missing your appointment will be incomplete and at risk of not being officially scheduled.
Appointments to be requested 48 hours in advance.
