NAVFAC EXWC: Industry Day

Fuel Tank Integrity and Restoration Technology Exploration and Opportunities for Collaboration
The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) executes up to $180M/year in contracts for tank and pipe cleaning, inspection, and repair. This industry day is an opportunity for Active Duty and DOD Employees, Global POL contractors, and industry leaders in oil and gas, mining, weight handling, academia, and other non-traditional contracting sources to discuss the unique challenges with the Red Hill Underground Fuel Facility. The goal is to have open and frank conversations with industry and academic leaders to identify unique solutions to Red Hill specific problems to reduce time, cost, and increase quality. Items of interest include but are not limited to Non-Destructive Testing sensor packages, robotic movers, leave behind sensors, coatings, composites, etc. We are also looking for logistics technologies and practices focused on increasing access and throughput for personnel/tradesmen conducting inspections and restoration actions.
