Develop a Successful Commercialization Plan for the National Science Foundation (NSF)

Event Details

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has the widest diversity of topics which makes it a frequent first stop for companies looking to apply for a grant through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. This presentation will trace the attention to commercialization that needs to be evidenced in the proposal pitch (new requirement), as well as the Commercial Opportunity Discussion in Phase I applications and the 15 page Commercialization Plan included within Phase II proposals. Participants will gain insight into reviewers evaluation criteria and how this helps shape the expectations that must be met when developing a commercialization plan.
