This October 3rd, please join the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii and HTDC INNOVATE Hawaii as we help to raise awareness and support for manufacturing in Hawaii!
CALLING ALL MANUFACTURERS!!  We invite you to Join the Movement and host an Open House on MFG DAY! We are looking for businesses who are willing to open their doors to the public for a facility tour. Open House hours will take place on Friday, October 3, 2014 between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.  Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about manufacturing and how we can work together as a community to support and strengthen the manufacturing industry in Hawaii.
If your company is interested in hosting an MFG DAY Open House, please let us know by 12pm Wednesday, September 17th.  This will give us enough time to for the media release and PR of this event.  Contact Erin Furuichi at 808-539-3921 or

Additional events include private tours of 3 - 5 manufacturing facilities for elected officials, business leaders, other manufacturers, and invited press.

About the SBIR/STTR Webinar Series:
This monthly webinar series brought to you by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer (NCET2) will explore topics relevant to the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Technology Transfer Research (STTR) programs. It will also discuss how researchers and small businesses can use this funding source. The series will begin with an overview of the program and its implementation at the participating agencies. On some webinars, winners of the prestigious Tibbetts Award who have successfully brought their SBIR/STTR technologies to market will share their stories and tips on how they progressed from SBIR/STTR seed funding to commercialization. The series also will include several webinars highlighting how large corporations can partner with SBIR/STTR awardees to integrate SBIR funded technologies into their supply chain. Other relevant and interesting topics pertaining to the SBIR/STTR program will also be discussed throughout the series.

New Online Resource Portal for Manufacturers!!
The Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii has created an online tool to make it easier for manufacturers to access information, connect with other companies, and get more involved in supporting the manufacturing industry in Hawaii!
